ATLAS UNI-GRUNT is a deep-penetrating primer based on the highest quality water-based polymer resin dispersion.
Express – very short drying time – depending on temperature and humidity conditions, new layers can be applied to the primed substrate after:
- approx. 15 minutes – for ATLAS adhesive mortars,
- after approx. 2 hours – for self-levelling floors and screeds, wallpapers, paint coatings on cement-lime plasters, silicate hollow bricks and aerated concrete blocks.
Efficient – one canister of ATLAS UNI-GRUNT diluted 1:3 is sufficient to prime the same surface area as 4 canisters of regular READY-TO-USE primer.
Facilitates the application of subsequent layers – paint coatings, adhesives, top finishes and fillers, self-levelling screeds and floors, carpet adhesives, wallpaper adhesives, thermal insulation adhesives for substrates, etc.
Colourless, solvent-free and water-soluble – the product is colourless after drying and does not cause discolouration of the substrate.
Can be applied with a roller, brush or spray.
Atlas Uni-Grunt Deep Primer 5L
- Maximum substrate reinforcement effect – penetrates the structure of the material, thanks to a very high content of polymer dispersions, reinforces it and binds it in the penetration zone.
- Increases the efficiency of paints, finishing coats and adhesives – by sealing the structure of the primed substrate, it reduces the consumption of materials used for the next coat.
- Reduces substrate absorbency – prevents excessive water from being drawn out of the product applied to primed substrates: cement-based screeds with or without underfloor heating, various types of plaster, etc.
- Uniformity of substrate absorbency – the product applied in the next layer has the same bonding conditions across the entire surface, including areas where local repairs have been carried out.
- Increases adhesion to the substrate - guarantees that the applied product achieves maximum parameters (e.g. strength, adhesion, hardness) by preventing moisture absorption by the substrate.
- Binds loose particles of dust and dirt, as well as dust remaining after sanding and dedusting surfaces.
- Designed for application at elevated temperatures - recommended for use between 5 °C and 30 °C, indoors and outdoors.
- Very low VOC content – 15 times lower than the requirements for volatile organic compounds.
